Fine Arts and Crafts
The festival committee has chosen the fine arts and crafts in the big tent behind the retail store. Some of the arts and crafts available are Dandelion Soap, Original Watercolor paintings, Handmade jewelry, Handmade candles, Woodcarving, Dandelion Fudge, and much more! The big tent will be open Friday from noon-7 and Saturday from 9-7.

Children’s Activities
Children gather in front of the barn Saturday at noon and can participate in the dandelion picking contest and dandelion scavenger hunt. After gathering their dandelions they can make dandelion crowns and make their own jelly to take home.
Dandelion Foods
And good food is a major part of the MayFest experience. A wide array of delicious foods containing dandelions is available for purchase on the fairway.
- Be sure to taste Dandelion Sausage and Dandelion Bratwurst from Strasburg,
- Dandelion Gravy with Potatoes from Boyd and Wurthman,
- Dandelion Breadsticks with Sauce from Dante’s and
- Dandelion Lasagna from Fred’s Barbeque.
THE GREAT DANDELION COOKOFF
The Great Dandelion Cookoff begins at 2:00 P.M. in the barn. 11 finalists have been chosen and are competing for the title of the Dandelion Chef of the Year, with its $500 first prize. Prizes are awarded from 3 to 3:30 p.m., and sampling begins after the contestants have a chance to try each other's creations. Last year’s winner was Nancy Radke from Gahanna with her “Greek Couscous Salad Stack with Dandelion Pesto”.
